Committee Calendar

Participating in an HCCA Committee is an opportunity to network while contributing to the health of the industry. All HCCA members are welcome to join any committee that interests them.
Committees are meeting virtually in April.

DIG Committee (formerly PAC) 
July 1, 2:00PM

(Leads HCCA's political engagement by keeping local and state entities informed on legislative issues that could affect the industry. Monitors and enhances a funding stream to support HCCA's legislative consultants, so the association can continue having a meaningful impact on legislative matters affecting membership.)

Women in Construction Committee 
July 13, 4:00PM

(HCCA's newest committee provides an opportunity for women in the workforce to network, provide opportunities for professional growth, and more.)

Golf Committee 
July 15, 3:00PM

(Plans two major events: Ditch Diggers Open in May and the President’s Cup in September. Creates a networking golf platform for members and potential members to meet and play on a casual basis.)

Health & Wellness Committee 
July 22, 3:30

(Focusing on the need for a healthy workforce, this committee is dedicated to promoting fitness through the creation of events, such as the Ditch Diggers Dash 5K. This committee also looks for charitable partners to both support the 5K event and to receive a portion of the proceeds.)

Infrastructure Awards Committee 
July 27, 10:00AM

(This committee plans, promotes, and assesses an awards program to judge
the best infrastructure projects completed by our members in a
given calendar year.)

Safety Committee 
August 12, 10:00AM

(Provides a forum to keep safety professionals aware of changes in rules and regulations in terms of safety practices, insurance representatives, and those who provide PPE and other safety devices. This committee also administers an annual safety awards program to highlight safety achievements within our membership. They also assess the need and usage for various safety training topics.)

Membership Committee 

(Conceptualizes and evaluates opportunities to bring new members into the association. This committee proactively engages in outreach to potential new member firms. Focusing on collaboration within the membership, this committee looks for new ways HCCA can add value across the industry.)

Education Committee 

(Evaluates the training needs of HCCA members and specialty issues that may arise where seminars or additional education will benefit the membership.)
