ESI Checklist

A Joint Initiative of:

- The Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA)
- Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES)
- Engineers and Surveyors Institute

NEW!
The Heavy Construction Contractors Association’s (HCCA) Municipal Relations Committee, in conjunction with the Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES) and the Engineers and Surveyors Institute (ESI) have developed a “checklist” of items intended to assist Civil Engineers design projects that will improve the construction process, and avoid the potential for conflicts with temporary erosion control measures.

The HCCA/ESI checklist has become a standard with many civil engineering firms in Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties. Additionally, ESI holds an annual class for their engineering firm members on designing projects that will lead to more effective construction.  The checklist is central to this class.

Your association feels that this checklist is of sufficient importance to place it prominently on our website for you to download whenever you need a copy. We have also made the checklist one of the direct-access buttons on our home page.

We encourage you to click HERE now and download your own copy of the HCCA/ESI Checklist.
